Reading time: 4 minutes

In the shining daylight, there is an endless beauty stretching all across the dazzling sky, dynamic and populous city moving for their daily routines, the attractive Thames river telling its untold story, I was deeply mesmerized to see such a marvelous fusion of the great beauty of London city watching from the London eye. I was on a corporate tour in London and it was my first travel in the UK. Though I have traveled to many popular tourist destinations in the world before, roaming in London gives you a unique travel experience.

I was on a journey to explore London city and when I started this amazing tour, I visited some mind-blowing places which made me realize like my London dreams become true. And my curiosity to explore this European city rose drastically as I began my tour from….

London Eye:

The Millennium Wheel is located on Westminster Bridge Road on the south bank of the River Thames in London. This 135 meters tall structure is one of the world’s tallest cantilevered observation wheel with 32 fully enclosed capsules, allowing you to observe the iconic views of this city. This usually does not open in all seasons for the public but its schedule is updated by the management team. Well, as I entered the passenger capsule, I was impressed with the energetic response of the crowd who were eagerly waiting for the wheel ride. As the Millennium Wheel reached its peak, I was speechless to witness such a wondrous cityscape. The rotation speed, however, was not so fast but was slow enough to enjoy the ride. After a 30-min rotation, we left this and I was feeling like to ride again and again. But it was a high season, therefore, it wasn’t possible to do so. Then I moved to take the river cruise ride which was just the downside of this spot.

Sightseeing Cruise Ride on the Thames River:

After taking an amazing wheel ride experience, I went on for Cruise ride on Thames River. This journey was indeed very blissful as I was deeply immersed while enjoying the stunning sight-views. During this cruise ride on the Thames River, I saw St Paul’s Cathedral, Tate Modern, Tower of London, Shakespeare’s Globe, Tower Bridge, and many more scenic landmarks. This was a kind of leisure tour that anyone would definitely enjoy.

I was in full swing in my tour in London and was walking curiously and leisurely around the streets. And my journey went to…

Buckingham Palace:

The official London residence of the UK, Buckingham Palace, is generally used for official events but the state rooms at Buckingham Palace are open to visitors for 10 weeks each summer. It is also recognized around the world as the home of the queen. But unfortunately, the moment when I was there, the Palace was closed for visitors due to an official event. I got a bit disappointed but I enjoyed its architectural brilliance. Especially, the Changing of the Guards event was very attractive that one must see it at least once if you are in the UK.

Hyde Park:

Hyde Park is a very attractive place to roam around. There are numerous things to do in Hyde Park to entertain you. Like: Diana Memorial Fountain, Speakers’ Corner, Serpentine Bar and Kitchen, Hyde Park Playground, The Rose Garden, Hyde Park Tennis, and sports center. You can exercise a lot of interesting things to have an offbeat tour experience. Even the serene atmosphere and vibrant greenery might amaze you.

Piccadilly Circus and Trafalgar Square:

Piccadilly Circus is one of the most famous squares to traverse leisurely. It is the heart of London and the center of shopping, leisure walking, sightseeing, etc. It is also considered as the hub of entertainment. One can explore a lot of things to do in Piccadilly Circus like; the Piccadilly Lights, the Theatre District, Harry Potter Locations, Trafalgar Square, do shopping on Regent Street, visit Chinatown and Soho, etc. You can even discover the historical glimpse of Europe by exploring other sites and Memorials & Statues such as Leicester Square, Shaftesbury Memorial Fountain, Equestrian Statue of Charles I, The Horses of Helios, Swiss Glockenspiel, William Shakespeare Statue, Trafalgar Square Fountains and much more.

Westminster Abbey:

Explore the icon of a thousand years of history attracting numerous visitors each day. Westminster Abbey is one of the most significant sites in London to get inside the hidden elements of England. Westminster Abbey is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This is a church where daily worships, royal weddings, ceremonial events, occasional events, and other tour & activity take place. Once you enter this spectacular church, you will be enchanted by its engraved architecture and artistry.

This historical site indeed reflects the rich legacy of Christianity. Westminster Abbey is mainly famous for being a place for special events. The church is found crowded in a normal season and usually, people pay a visit here in group tour.

Madame Tussauds:

The museums of wax statues of the world’s most famous persons. Madame Tussauds does not need much introduction as it has acquired the impressive acclamation for its brilliant artistry of wax statues. In order to visit Madame Tussauds, you would need to book the tickets in advance otherwise you may not get sufficient opportunities to avail the tickets. And I had booked the ticket in advance because I was on a pre-planned tour. There are a great number of attractions in Madame Tussauds museum, the alluring wax statues of renowned personalities like; Michal Jackson, David Beckham, Sachin Tendulkar, and other countless personalities. Besides this, you can experience Marvel heroes in 4D and take a look at some iconic scenes of Star Wars and much more exciting things to observe.

Certainly, I was amazed to see such a huge number of marvelous attractions in London and I really felt like I have relieved my London Dreams. Although it may cost a bit more, you would be more than satisfied to have a unique travel experience in London.
